Just wondering what places people are from and what the music scene is like there.
I'm in Cardiff, UK. While there's a great new uk-indie music scene here, very difficult to find good reggae fans to form bands with. There are a growing number of excellent UK acts taking up the Reggae, dub or ska banner though, and likewise every now and again there's a Reggae night in a cool bar or other venue. Generally it can feel a bit sparse however.
What about where you are?
I don't know what prompted this question but I've been getting into more bands from the area 10ft and JBB are from, and wondered if Ithaca NY was really a special place or less of an anomaly than it appears this side of the pond!
